We love how she champions sticking to your style strengths and her genuinely refreshing take on Australian fashion - and how to wear it with ease.
What are three things you must do every day? Walk my dogs very early, around 5am. Then I have a cup of tea and check the weather forecast and meditate.
When are you most productive, and why? Early mornings are definitely my time. I used to get up early when my kids were little as it was the only time of day that I had to myself and the habit has stuck. I think I’m just naturally a morning person anyway, I love that first light.
One item of clothing you can’t do without right now? White T-Shirts
What is your most shared mantra? You never get a second chance at a first impression” - Oscar Wilde.
What’s the best compliment you could receive? Your kids are great.
Netflix or a novel? What’s your current obsession? Sadly Netflix. I just went to a health retreat and started reading again which I love but there’s too much going on in my normal life. I just fall asleep one page in! My daughter found Friends from College to stream which was made in 2017 - I’ve no idea how I missed it!! It’s so good, really funny!!!
Sliding door moment…? Getting pregnant at 23 and not moving to New York.
Next on the bucket list? I’ve not had an overseas holiday in about seven years so maybe next year... somewhere I’ve never been… perhaps Greece?
Why is slow fashion so important to you? We all have more clothing than we need. Pieces can be reworked, restyled to make them fresh again. We need to make pieces better with less.
Gold or Silver, Heels or Flats? Weirdly I’m starting to feel silver again, this is new though. I pulled out my silver Elsa Peretti vase necklace today and it really worked. And always flats, I can barely wear heels now but will for short spans!
Wear the most body revealing fun things now while you can (youthful bodies don’t last forever)!!!
Favourite FLATIRON piece?
The Allentare Wide Leg Pants are so light and comfortable, especially in this hot weather! Also can be dressed up or down which works for me!
What is one piece of style advice you wish every woman knew?
Bad shoes can undo everything!
